Oh Cluck! Preview: Voodoo Chicken

Voodoo Chicken Stops specials right in their tracks.

Day 12 of the Previews, and we’ve come to another new Card Type: The Counter, and our first preview for Counters: Voodoo Chicken.

Voodoo Chicken is pretty simple. When a Special action happens (card or Rooster), Voodoo Chicken allows you to cancel it.

Counter Cards are played in response to other actions happening in the game, allowing you to cancel a specific action from happening. Play continues as if the previous action never happened.

Take a Dive is the ultimate Special, denying your opponent the eggs they desperately fought for.

Take a Dive is the most game changing Special in the game. After your opponents diligently work to defeat your Rooster, you swoop in, and collect the eggs for yourself!

Day 10 of the Previews, and we’re staring at the next preview for a Special Card: Boneless.

Prepare to serve your opponent up a dish called pain with this brutal Special Card, by forcing them to play with one less card in their hand!

Sunny Side Up lets you collect an egg when someone defeats your Rooster.

Day 9 of the Previews, and we’re looking for the bright side in a bad spot with Sunny Side up.

Bummed because your Rooster just got taken down? Well Sunny Side Up may not make you feel right as rain, but it will drop an egg in your basket, and every egg helps, right?

Day 8 of the Previews, and we’ve got the Mother of all Specials: Hen in the House

Hen in the House is the type of card that can always get a play. Whether you’re targeting a pesky Rooster of an opponent that you don’t want to deal with, or dealing with your own damaged, near defeat Rooster, Hen in the House can be both offensive, and defensive.

Special Cards can be played instead of an Attack, or in special circumstances (outlined on the card), they can be played in response to other cards, and have a big impact on the game.

Day 7 of the Previews, and we’re on to the next card type! Here come the Special Cards, and first up, we have Plucked.

Plucked can be a great play. Remember, when you play plucked anything on the Rooster goes with them! Damage, Boneless, all of it!

Serve that attack back at your opponent with a side of waffles!

Day 6 of the Previews, and we’ve got another Dodge. Today, we look at Waffle.

Dodge that attack, and serve it back to your opponent with a side of Damage, Syrup not included.

Dodge Cards are played in response to attacks, attempting to stop the attack from damaging your Rooster. They may have secondary effects. There are several cards, and Rooster abilities in the game that can interact with a Dodge.

Birds of a Feather is the Basic Dodge card in the Standard Edition of Oh Cluck!

Day 5 of the Previews, and we’re on to a new card type, the Dodge cards. Today, we look at Birds of a feather.

No muss, no Fuss, Birds of a Feather simply stops an attack that was targeting your Rooster.

Dodge Cards are played in response to attacks, attempting to stop the attack from damaging your Rooster. They may have secondary effects. There are several cards, and Rooster abilities in the game that can interact with a Dodge.

Oh Cluck! Preview: Honey Mustard

Honey Mustard is a saucy attack that leaves a Rooster a mess

Day 4 of the Previews, and we’re back with a 4 damage Attack! That’s the last time we rhyme… ok, ok, we’re done now.

Honey Mustard is a 4 damage attack, Tied for the largest Attack found in the Standard Edition of Oh Cluck! Honey Mustard can make quite the mess when you hit a Rooster with it.

Attack Cards are played against Roosters, and deal damage to them. When a Rooster has taken damage equal to, or greater than, their Feathers, they are defeated, and the player who finished them off gets to add their egg value to their Egg Basket.

Oh Cluck! Preview: Feathers Flyin’

Feathers Flyin' is a 3 damage attack in the Debut Card Game From Foolish Media LLC: Oh Cluck!

Day 3 of the Previews, and you’re right, it is a 3 damage Attack! You’re so smart!

Feathers Flyin’ is a 3 damage attack, which is the threshold where a single attack has the chance to be lethal. Smaller Roosters beware, things are starting to get real.

Attack Cards are played against Roosters, and deal damage to them. When a Rooster has taken damage equal to, or greater than, their Feathers, they are defeated, and the player who finished them off gets to add their egg value to their Egg Basket.
